Three Days/ Two Nights Safari

Chobe

Activity Description

The ultimate Chobe experience, filled with the best that Chobe has to offer, makes this a trip you will never forget.

Day One: Arrival, Boat Cruise, and Afternoon Game Drive
At 08:30, guests are met at Kazungula by their guide and escorted through immigration formalities. There will be an opportunity for some last-minute shopping in Kasane, as there are no shops within the park.

At 09:30, you’ll board the boat for a 3-hour river cruise into Chobe National Park. This cruise is one of the trip’s highlights, providing the chance to get up close to birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and herds of elephants and Cape buffalo as they come to the river to drink. The boat cruise ends at White Sands at 12:30, where your safari guide will be waiting to take you on a game drive to your wilderness campsite for lunch.

After a hearty lunch and settling into your tents, you’ll have tea before departing on an afternoon game drive. This is an ideal time to spot Chobe’s large herbivores as they make their way to the river. After sunset, return to camp for drinks around the campfire and a delicious dinner under the stars.

Day Two: Early Morning and Afternoon Game Drives
Your day begins at dawn with warm water delivered to your basin and a friendly Botswana “dumela” (good morning). After a quick cup of tea or coffee and a light breakfast, you’ll set off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is perfect for spotting big cats, as they are still active in the cooler hours.

By mid to late morning, you’ll return to camp for a well-deserved “bush brunch” and a relaxing siesta. This is your chance to rest, read, or take a refreshing shower before the afternoon activities.

When the day begins to cool off, you’ll head out on another afternoon game drive following tea. Revisit earlier sightings or explore new areas of Chobe National Park, which is known for its diverse wildlife. Look out for elephants, buffalo, and more elusive species like puku and roan antelope. After the drive, return to camp for a reflective fireside chat, followed by dinner, accompanied by the unforgettable sounds of the African night.

Day Three: Final Game Drive and Departure
Another dawn “dumela” greeting is followed by a cup of tea or coffee and a light breakfast. You’ll then set off on your final early morning game drive. Mid to late morning, return to camp for a bush brunch and a refreshing shower. After packing up, you’ll depart on your final activity and will be dropped off in Kasane or Kazungula by 16:30.
